How Rotary Heat Exchanger Works
The rotary heat exchanger efficiently transfers heat and moisture between indoor (RA) and outdoor (OA) air. It does this by temporarily absorbing and storing heat and humidity as it rotates, then releasing them.
This mechanism helps to prevent the influx of hot and humid air from outside during the summer, and stops the escape of warm, humid air from indoors during the winter. Because both heat and moisture are transferred through the same temporary storage and release process, the heat recovery efficiency and moisture recovery efficiency remain the same. As a result, our heat exchanger reduces both temperature and humidity at the same rate, which means condensation doesn't form within the unit. This eliminates the need for a separate anti-condensation heater, further boosting energy efficiency.
