Husheet, Sheet-Type High-Polymer Desiccant Material

World’s First Ultra-Thin Sheet-Type Dehumidifier

Developed in-house by Humaster, this innovative sheet-type dehumidifier features Husorb, a proprietary high-polymer desiccant material, layered between breathable layers. Husheet combines multiple functions—dehumidification, deodorization, antibacterial, and antifungal—while its thin, flexible sheet form enhances ease of use and versatility.

Husorb is a high-performance polymer dehumidifying material developed by HUMASTER, patented in both Korea and the United States, and recipient of the Korean Intellectual Property Office Patent Technology Award (KIPO Citation No. 9920, June 2014). Husorb offers five times the dehumidification capacity of silica gel, over 99% deodorization efficiency, and top-grade antibacterial and antifungal performance.

Conventional desiccant materials, such as silica gel, are porous materials that absorb water molecules and odor molecules through microscopic pores. This principles can only adsorb as many water molecules as there are voids, which limits its dehumidifying power. However, Husheet has a property that can expand network as possibly as taking into water molecules of surroundings to sheet surface and it acts more effective in high humidity.

Husheets are elastic net-like structures by expanding that increase in volume when water molecules are absorbed by polymers. And than the increased volume allows it to absorb outstandingly more water molecules than conventional desiccant materials.

Most dehumidifiers and deodorizers are sold with the same ingredients but under different packaging and brands.

This is why there has been little to no difference in performance between products until now.

With the convenience of a thin sheet type, Husheet is easy to use and applicable for many industrial and household usage. Husheets are extensively utilized in industrial dehumidifiers for applications such as semiconductor production, museum artifact preservation, bioscience, and IT. They are also popular in consumer products for dehumidification and deodorization purpose, including mattress, closet, shoes cabinet, and refridgerator.
