Humaster announced on the 15th that it has been selected as a “2023 Hi-Seoul Company,” a program jointly organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). Companies certified as Hi-Seoul Companies this year will receive official recognition as excellent companies of Seoul for three years, until 2026.
The Hi-Seoul Company Certification Program identifies promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Seoul with high growth potential and provides official certification as excellent SMEs recognized by the city. The program supports the growth of companies with strong growth, profitability, stability, and productivity.
Through a rigorous evaluation process, companies are assessed comprehensively on financial performance, job creation, and overall capabilities. Selected companies receive preferential benefits such as participation in support programs, B2B connections among Hi-Seoul Companies, and investment incentives from the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
As a specialist in dehumidification, purification, and ventilation solutions, Humaster has achieved consistent sales growth by contributing to climate crisis response and carbon neutrality. Its desiccant dehumidification and cooling technology reduces energy consumption while improving occupant comfort, providing optimal solutions for sustainable indoor environments.
Humaster’s flagship product, Humicon, not only controls indoor CO₂ levels and fine dust concentrations with its ventilation and air purification functions, but also enhances comfort by lowering humidity instead of temperature through its desiccant cooling feature. This makes it well-suited to meet market demand for both comfort and healthy indoor air quality.
In particular, this year Humaster has expanded its lineup beyond Humicon to include the low-temperature, low-humidity industrial dehumidifier Huzero, the window-mounted ventilation-only unit Huvent, and the localized dehumidifier for spaces such as dressing rooms, Huspot. With this diverse portfolio, Humaster plans to deliver high-performance desiccant-based dehumidification, purification, and ventilation solutions across households, industrial facilities, and public procurement sectors.
CEO Lee Dae-young stated, “With this selection, following our recognition as a Baby Unicorn Company in 2022 and as an Excellent Product for Government Procurement in 2023, we are delighted to also be certified as a Hi-Seoul Company—recognition not only of our technology but also of our business potential. We aim to expand the global supply of Humaster’s desiccant dehumidification and cooling technology, contributing to greenhouse gas reduction on a global scale and fostering the healthy coexistence of people and the planet.”
