Sales of Husheet has increased 25 times compared to the previous year. Husheet is an eco-friendly product that not only dehumidifies but also offers deodorizing, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, making applicable for many household applications.

Lee Dae-Young, CEO of Humaster, has achieved a breakthrough in dehumidification technology with the development of Humicon, a humidity-control-based air conditioning system. The system incorporates the patented polymer desiccant material Husheet, making it a highly innovative product with added functions such as deodorization, antibacterial, and antifungal performance.

Humaster introduces Humicon which is 1.6 times higher dehumidification efficiency without changing indoor temperature. This technology also reduces electricity consumption and noise, making it a standout solution for tropical and humid climates around the world.

Lee Dae-Young, Director of the Urban Energy Research Division at KIST, emphasized that waste heat from combined heat and power (CHP) plants can be effectively utilized through dehumidification cooling systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Korea District Heating Corporation plans to pilot its dehumidification cooling system in 50 households starting next year. This eco-friendly technology offers significant energy savings and CO₂ emission reduction. Its ability to utilize various heat sources positions it as a promising and innovative solution in the global market.
