Humaster participates in the ‘2024 Museum and Art Gallery Expo’

Humaster Co., Ltd., a company specializing in dehumidification, air purification, and ventilation solutions, will participate in the “2024 Museum & Art Fair”, to be held at BEXCO, Busan, from October 24 to 27.

Hosted for the first time by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the fair will bring together not only national, public, and private museums and art galleries but also related industries. The event will showcase high-level special exhibitions, immersive content displays, educational and hands-on programs, and museum/art gallery merchandise exhibitions and sales, providing an opportunity to promote museums and art galleries nationwide while offering a comprehensive view of industry trends.

One highlight is the special exhibition “The Collector’s Room,” which honors the insight and achievements of collectors who have contributed to the development of museums. The exhibition will reconstruct the collections and collecting activities of figures such as Samsung Chairman Lee Byung-chul, reintroducing the artifacts and artworks they cherished. In addition, immersive content owned by the National Museum of Korea and other institutions, such as Peony Blossom, The King’s Procession, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, will be on continuous display, captivating visitors with their vivid and engaging experiences.

Since its founding in 2018, Humaster has focused on developing and enhancing its core product, the “Humicon” desiccant dehumidification and purification ventilation solution, expanding across both public and private markets. In recent years, its “Husheet” humidity-control sheets for exhibitions and “Humicon” space humidity management systems have been installed and sold at leading national museums and galleries, including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the National Folk Museum of Korea, the Seoul Museum of Craft Art, the National Palace Museum of Korea, and the Performing Arts Museum of the National Theater of Korea, with ongoing consultations continuing.

Lee Dae-young, CEO of Humaster, stated:

“We are introducing solutions that go beyond the limitations of conventional museum and gallery systems, delivering the required environments while achieving energy savings. We will lead innovation in the market through energy-efficient solutions.”

At this exhibition, Humaster will showcase a diverse lineup, ranging from the “Husheet” exhibition humidity-control sheets and the “Huspot” display-case humidity control device, to the “Humicon” space humidity management system, presenting advanced desiccant-based dehumidification and purification ventilation solutions tailored for display cases, exhibition spaces, and storage rooms. The company expects to strengthen its position in both public procurement and private sector markets with its high-performance technologies.
